tanx sa mga nag post ng experience nila… buti n lang at nasearch ko tong site na before i proceed for the said Interview na ung Pala e marketing Strategy nila,,, Cmula p lan nag hesitate na ako kc bigla n lang my anonymous caller at alam nila bsic information ko like name, school nd cellphone number and the said interview is around of 6:30 in the evening.. anu klase ng interview.. gabi! buti n lang my mga mrurunong na gumawa ng site na to,, salamat tlaga at one out of 5 ako sa nakaligtas sa strategy nila…

If a call from an anonymous caller not giving complete details about the “business opportunity” will ask for an appointment, then say pass… from octagon building, nuskin is residing now in ODC building… still using the same tactic “we have a job for you, no commitments, i-can’t-email-you-info-about-our-company-its-confidential”…i got myself lured in the presentation but skipped it because it’s way toooo long. Sometimes the caller will not mention “NUSKIN-pharmanex” but “LIFEGEN TECH”….avoid this call like plague…

I got a call from a girl named Mitzi (I think ) and she invited for a job interview. I am currently working in sales, and love every minute of it. She asked me if I’d be ineterested to join a business opportunity. When I asked her where did she get my number, she told me that she got it from a special source. I was scheduled for an interview this Friday, since its on Alabang, hindi naman hassle sa akin dahil malapit lang sa work ko talaga.

I hate MLM. I was a victim if this scam. I had invested 20,000 sa isang MLM, but then nagalisan lahat ng uppers namin and then off they go with our money. So now that I know that this indeed is an MLM strategy, I wont be attending the appointment on Friday na.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience.. actually we have same experience on Pharmanex and Nuskin.. actually gnun na ganun din cnavi nia skin…. then nung cnavi n nia yung place OCTAGON tower… tnaning ko kung anu name ng company ksi ive been there before for Nuskin ay super nkakabwisit.. he said pharmanex… so i searched the google iisa lng pala yun… nkakaasar.. hndi nia talaga skin cnvi na iisa yun buti na lng d ako pumunta then I’ve been wiser na ksi inalam ko muna yung Pharmanex n yan… thanks to you.. u helped me alot… bago ako mgsayang ng panahon dyan ^^

may tumawag sakin last night.. sabi pumunta daw ako dun sa octagon building this afternoon para daw sa project nila ang company nga pharmanex.. sinabi niya kasi yung school ko at alam niya yung name ko hindi ko alam kung san niya nakuha yung number ko..scam kaya yun?

yup, started my post years ago and still gets comments from all sides and of course comments from people frustrated by the same recruiting practice of some members of NU SKIN that i was sharing about on my post.

its sad to know that there’s still members who do it. I guess it works and they do get people to actually sign up and hopefully they succeeded with NU SKIN. I wish them all the best. However, as always, not all people will be happy especially those ones who aren’t or won’t be interested with NU SKIN and were given false hope of getting a job they wanted and not a networking job. And many will be frustrated as well to be provided with false company names and job openings and realize later on they were fooled and their time were wasted.

Again, as a disclaimer, to anyone pro-NU SKIN that might be reading this comment i have and havent read my actual blog post, i don’t have anything against NU SKIN. they’re a great company and most members are great as well and as i’ve said i’ve got several friends who are members. My frustration is only all about the false recruitment practice done my some members which have upset me and a lot of other people as well as you can read their rants on this thread and from other blogs as well.

I think people don’t understand each other here.

What few ones want to imply is that, it’s the practice of recruiting that’s not legit and not the business itself.

I was called a month ago by a girl in the name of Leila. She invited me for a job opportunity like some SEO’s or something like that. She told me that their office is in the 15th Floor of Octagon Bldg. I have a job (until now I’m here) here in PSEC… Kung tutuusin, tatawid lang ako. I was almost hooked by the offer but then I got confused when I asked her where did she get my number and she answered “I’ll tell you na lang during the interview.” I said, “okay”. We agreed to meet that Saturday and I was still wondering about the company. That morning, (since my sched was in the afternoon), I texted the girl and asked for the company’s name. I made my decision not to come when she said “I can’t tell you right away because it’s CONFIDENTIAL”.

Why did it have to be confidential? What are they, a syndicate?

So I googled what company must be occupying the said floor in Octagon. I was shocked with all the rants I read. I was saddened.

When I didn’t appear, the girl texted me, that I must not “commit to an appointment if I’m not sure I can make it”. I replied “Sorry, I can’t be fooled.”
