Microsoft has now publicly released the MSE or Microsoft Security Essentials, a very big leap from the old Windows Live One Care. It is available for free from the Microsoft website and can be installed on any “genuine” Windows system.

I’ve downloaded it and installed it on my Windows 7 64-bit system and it works really well with no problems so far. Its quick and easy to install, update and scan! Good job Microsoft! (i’ll just be waiting and see how good it works as an antivirus
