We’ve been hearing and seeing a lot lately about acai berries and acai juices especially on the topics of healthy eating and diet. The acai berry is a small, round, purple-ish fruit about an inch in diameter. It is from the acai palm which is popularity grown in Brazil.

The acai berry is being marketed as a dietary supplement that comes in different forms like juice, capsules, tablets, smoothies, powdered drink, and as the actual fruit. One of the most popular form of acai berry is the acai juice which is said to taste like a mix of berries and chocolate. It is sold either as a pure juice or is mixed with other juices or substances. Another is the freeze dried acai in the form of powder which is processed within 24 hours of picking an acai berry. And of course, the brazilian berry acai which is the actual fruit from the acai palm.

There are a lot of information on the internet about acai berry. The acai berry is a wonderful fruit that has good nutrients in it. So whether some says its health benefits is true or not, why not try it and see for yourself?
